STOTT PILATES Intensive Programs

The Level 1 courses teaches you the Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES exercises and creates the framework for intelligent and midfull programming.

Intensive Matwork-Plus

Building on your industry knowledge it teaches you to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Matwork repertoire, for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Matwork programs.

Intensive Reformer

Building on your industry knowledge it teaches you to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Reformer repertoire for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Reformer programs. While IR may be taken prior to IMP, we recommend completing IMP first.

Intensive Cadillac, Chair and Barrels

Students registering for this course must have completed Intensive Mat Plus or Intensive Reformer. The Cadillac, Chair, & Barrels course has been structured into three separate modules; ICAD, ICHR and IBRL, to give you maximum flexibility. Completion of all three modules is required to be eligible for certification.

Exam Information: Once course is completed, your written and practical exam must be completed within 6 months. Exam Fees: IMP Course Exam Fee: £250 – Joint IMP/IR Courses Single Exam Fee: £275

Booking a Course:

2 Steps is needed to secure a spot in a course:

 

Step 1:  Submit the course application form

This form needs to be completed and sent to education@corepilatesstudios.co.uk. It will serve as the pre-requisite experience check as required by Merrithew.

 

Step 2: Register on our online portal and pay the deposit

Create your profile and sign up for the appropriate course. You will need to submit a payment for the deposit. Should your application be unsuccessful, the deposit will be refunded.

Entry Requirements

Each course has specific entry requirements such as previous experience, certifications and other courses completed. We ask that you fill the application for detailing your experience etc.

 

Course Attendance

You are required to attend all days of the course to be considered to have completed the course.

 

Course Transfers

Course transfers can be done as long as you let us know in writing at least 2 months before course start. A change fee for £350 is required for changes between 8 and 4 weeks before course start. We cannot change courses after after the 4 week deadline.

 

Cancelling your course

You can cancel your course up to 14 days after acceptance to course. After this period, you cannot cancel your course and full amount is due.

To book your exam:

Email us at education@corepilatesstudios.co.uk to book your exam. We will arrange the assessor. Any questions or concerns, let us know. If you are arranging a re-sit, full exam fee will be collected when you book.

 

Make sure you book your exam within the time limit after your course.

 

Changing your exam

We need to know if you would like to change your booking at least 4 weeks before your exam dates. This is because the assessor needs to be booked. If you miss your exam, you will still need to pay the full exam fee and pay for another booking.

Certificates

After passing your exams, Merrithew® will  email tour certificate directly. Hard copies of the certificates can be requested directly to Merrithew®. These will be sent from Toronto by recorded mail.

 

If you need a replacement, please let us know by email education@corepilatesstudios.co.uk. A small re-issuing fee will be collected.

Feedback

We welcome any and all feedback to our courses and in general. After each course, you will be given a feedback form where you have the opportunity to share. Alternatively, you can email education@corepilatesstudios.co.uk

 

Appeals

If you disagree with any exam or assessment outcome, this has to be raised in writing no later than 4 weeks after the assessment. You will need to provide supporting evidence. Email this form to education@corepiltesstudios.co.uk or by email to Core Windsor, 13 Alma Road, Windsor, SL4 3HU.

You are welcome to film your assessment as long as this is pre arranged with us. You will need to provide your own equipment and make sure this does not affect the procedures during the assessment.

Meet Your Instructor Trainer

Carlo is a registered osteopath and a Pilates passionista, who loves to inspire students and clients. Born and raised in Mexico City, his affection for Pilates was born after a dance injury when he discovered the benefits of spinal rehabilitation through the STOTT PILATES® method. Carlo is a Merrithew® Instructor Trainer, a STOTT PILATES® REHAB Reformer 1 & 2 trained instructor and a STOTT PILATES® Athletic Conditioning Specialist & Group Matwork Specialist.

Carlo holds a BSc. Ost.(Hons) from the College of Osteopaths in London, UK, a BFA in Ballet from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA and is a YMCA FIT Gym Instructor certified in strength training.
